The yards of the AGR house are another attraction. The front yard has been professionally landscaped, and canopied by overpowering oak trees. There is also a 30-foot flagpole that supports the Tarleton State University flag, and one of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. The back yard has a new stone patio for social gatherings, and meetings. The patio is embellished with an inlayed granite stone, engraved with our Greek letters. Members take great pride in our letters, by not allowing anyone to step foot on the granite. Brothers and alumni have also installed a new wood privacy fence. Another member has donated an eight-foot bar-b-que smoker for cooking for large numbers of people. Every brother of the fraternity takes great pride in the appearance of their house, and tries their best to keep it looking presentable to each other as well as the community.
