Welcome to Tarleton!!!
"The only thing scarier than your freshman year of college is facing it alone"
"People ask why I am in a fraternity and I try to explain all the things a fraternity is that they cannot see. A fraternity is more than letters on a tshirt. More than traditional songs, a gold pin, rituals, and obligation, or a way of life. A fraternity is learning about people, a fraternity is giving without expecting a return. A fraternity is earning respect from others, as well as for yourself. A fraternity will not solve all your problems. But I have made good friends and found confidence there to help me take life one step at a time."
We would like to be among the first to welcome you to the Tarleton State Community. We would also like to introduce you to the many opportunities that Greek life at Tarleton State has to offer. The Greek community has a long history of enriching students' lives by providing strong academic support, a wealth of leadership opportunities, and sound fraternal values. We have continually demonstrated that Greek life enhances the in-class experience through achieving a GPA that is consistently higher than the all-university average. Also, many students take advantage of the leadership roles available to them, not only within their chapters, but also through the Interfraternity Council. In addition, every one of the Greek chapters here, at Tarleton State was founded on principles of leadership, scholarship, service, and fraternalism. These principles are exemplified through the extraordinary accomplishments of many of our chapters and their members.
